GABRIEL'S QUEST FOR LOVE Available now from The Dark Castle Lords Painter Gabriel Duarte has just returned from a long painting trip in the company of Jade, a charming, high-strung and sexy young woman. When she phones him to say she is pregnant, Gabriel does what he considers the right thing, and offers to marry her and legitimize his child. Depressed but unable to force his will on the high-spirited Jade, Gabriel returns to Ocean Breeze, FL, where he lives and paints.

Tasha returns to the law office where she works to give her notice, after dealing with the aftermath of her sister Jade's sudden death. She realizes she will have to give up the job she loves and accept something more part time, such as cleaning jobs with Manuel's Maidens, in order to be able to keep her sister's child with her and be the best mother she can for the infant's sake.

In due course, she is sent to clean for Gabriel, and he is enchanted with the baby. When he finds out the young woman is caring for her deceased sister's child, he hesitantly asks her whether the father of the baby couldn't help her out a little to make things easier for her. Tasha tells him her sister Jade never told her who fathered of her baby. It is then Gabriel realizes he has found his child. And sets out to reclaim the child he has lost along with the caretaker.

Their path to love is not without complications, notably Gabriel's mother, who is viciously unkind to Tasha. And there is Gabriel's spectacular temper...something Tasha is not really used to coping with, and which she does not always understand. Will these two star-crossed lovers and their child be able to find a way to become a happy family of three?
